The center of Munich is literally at the feet of the JAMS Boutique Hotel! And if you don’t feel like walking, you can get there quickly and easily by public transport. Just around the corner is the Gasteig tram stop, from where you can take line 17 to Isartor in just two stops or go directly to Munich’s Pinakotheken museums in Maxvorstadt. Here’s a little insider tip: From Max-Weber-Platz (800 meters from the JAMS Boutique Hotel), you can take the legendary tram 19, which stops at many tourist attractions and is perfect for a little sightseeing tour! The Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn station is also only 400 meters from our hotel. From here, the S1 and S8 take you to Munich Airport (travel time just under 35 minutes), and you can reach the main train station in about eight minutes. Alternatively, our guests can take advantage of an exclusive limousine service that offers an airport shuttle for a fixed price of €115.

Just a few meters from the JAMS Boutique Hotel, the Isar River and its extensive parks await—here you will find the most beautiful running and cycling routes along the Isar and in the English Garden. In summer, picturesque city beaches invite you to take a dip in the refreshing waters. Or you can use the extensive Isar floodplains to relax and enjoy the urban beach feeling. Diagonally opposite the hotel is the famous Müllersches Volksbad, Munich’s first and oldest public indoor swimming pool. Here you can swim laps in a neo-baroque Art Nouveau atmosphere and then treat yourself to a few sauna sessions.

In addition to the trendy JAMS Restaurant & Bar, known for its melodic soul food and fabulous signature burgers, there are other first-class restaurants in the immediate vicinity of our design hotel: At Hostaria Fratelli, Luigi and Rocco Gruosso, two brothers from Basilicata, pamper their guests with exquisite modern interpretations of classic Italian cuisine. Fans of the French way of life will be delighted by Brasserie Chez Fritz with its nostalgic 1930s-style interior and delicious menu: in addition to classics such as moules et frites and steak frites, you can also enjoy fresh oysters here, among other things. No less recommendable and a must when visiting Munich is, of course, traditional Bavarian cuisine. This can be found, among other places, in the rustic and cozy Wirtshaus in der Au, known for its perfect dumplings and jazz music. And, of course, it’s not far from JAMS to the beer garden – the beer garden at Wiener Platz (only 450 m away) is one of the most beautiful in Munich and belongs to the traditional Hofbräuhaus. And speaking of Wiener Platz: small market stalls such as the Fischhäusl attract visitors with authentic cuisine at moderate prices. The beer garden at Muffatwerk, Munich’s first certified organic beer garden, is just a five-minute walk from JAMS Boutique Hotel.

Right next to JAMS is Fat Cat (formerly Gasteig), a cultural hotspot with a jazz club, various bars, restaurants, a theater, and a rooftop terrace. But smaller institutions such as the Unterfahrt jazz club, which is one of the most important jazz venues in Europe, also offer international programs.
