Since 1985, the Gasteig on Rosenheimer Platz has been Munich’s cultural center, hosting over 1,700 events per year with the Philharmonic Hall at its heart. During the renovation, concerts were moved to the new Gasteig HP8 in Sendling, where the new Isar Philharmonic Hall has been operating as a modern concert venue since 2021. In the meantime, Fat Cat Munich is breathing new life into the old Gasteig rooms with exhibitions, concerts, events, and an exciting mix of art and urban subculture.
